Report: Matt Jewiss fired his second unbeaten KVL ton of the summer on a dry, fast Bearsted green on Sunday as the visitors racked up a formidable 250-8 from their 40 overs, 20-plus contributions coming from Dan Ansley, Jack Bayford, Dan Kemp and Boswell Thompson.
Even a required rate of more than a run a ball, however, was likely to be difficult for a young Rodmersham team to defend on a small ground and so it proved, the home side crashing the winning runs with 7 balls to spare and only Dan Pumfrett with 1-19 from his 8 overs managing to avoid punishment
