Report: Liam Foster hammered 84 from only 53 balls and put on 98 for the first wicket with Dan Pumfrett (33 from 26) as Rodmersham posted an imposing 142-4 from their 16 overs last Thursday evening. Foster's knock included 5 sixes and 5 fours as the home bowlers struggled to contain the visiting batters.
In reply though, it looked very much "game on" all the time Phil Rowcroft and skipper Lee Rigden were at the crease and a tight finish appeared on the cards. However, once these two fell in fairly quick succession, the innings meandered to a close 16 runs short, Dylan Emmett grabbing 4 wickets in the process.
Rodmersham will face the winners of the Milstead versus Bobbing Court & Lower Halstow clash for a place at Finals Day in August.
