Report: Rodmersham 1s moved out of the relegation places as the second half of the season began with a convincing victory at Gravesend RFC and a very welcome 20 points.
Kevin Jones continued his good form with a sparkling 92 and with decent contributions also coming from Michael Jones and Nick Denly the visitors closed their 50 overs on a healthy looking 261-8.
In reply the home side were never allowed to take the initiative and lost wickets at regular intervals to be dismissed for 185 inside 40 overs, Darren Nokes the pick of the Rodmersham attack with 4-42, Chris Ansley and Michael Jones each picking up two wickets of their own.
