Report: Rodmersham bounced back from the previous week's disappointing defeat with a comfortable win at Bottles Lane. Walmer were invited to bat first on a greenish strip which appeared to be a good call as two wickets fell with only 7 on the board. The visiting batters staged a recovery to see three figures up before the next went down but from then on the Rodmersham attack took control and restricted their opponents to 153 all out from their 50 over allocation, Sandeep Rodrigo and Nazoomi Azhar sharing seven wickets.
In reply, Kevin Jones was again the central figure for Rodmersham as he made light work of the Walmer bowlers, firing a fine 76. Useful contributions came too from Rodrigo, Dave Cogger and James Beech as Rodmersham closed out the match with 19 overs to spare.
