Rodmersham failed to bat for their full allocation of 40 overs but still posted a respectable 235 all out in 38.2 overs. Playing his first game for his new club, Alex Hart scored 102 whilst receiving good support from Lee Jackson(33) with whom he put on 102 for the fourth wicket.

The Broadstairs response was dominated by S Narraway(138) which left Rodmersham in a precarious position. However, excellent bowling by Matthew Godden(5 for 39) and Piet Botha(4 for 43) retrieved the situation to dismiss Broadstairs for 220 in 37.5 overs and give Rodmersham a thrilling 15 run victory.
