Despite losing a wicket to the first ball of the match, Rodmersham posted a challenging 138 for 2 thanks to good batting from Dylan Emmett(48*), Jack Bayford(32) and Matthew Jewiss(23*).
Gore Court struggled for runs against an accurate Rodmersham attack and fell well behind the required run rate. With five overs remaining and Gore Court requiring an unlikely 80 runs for victory the game was abandoned due to bad light. Jack Bayford(2 for 10) returned the best bowling figures.
