Rodmersham had much the better of this draw. Piet Botha(83) and Mike Jones(47) laid the foundation of the Rodmersham innings enabling them to declare at 209 for 5 after 40 overs.

The Offham response crumbled with the introduction of 14 year old Tom Roach into the attack when he took 6 for 25 in just 8 overs. Offham hung on desperately for a draw with their total at 137 for 9.
