Match Report

                  Rodmersham       v Milstead

Match Type Friendly (40 overs a side)
Venue Bottles Lane
Date Sun 6th July 2003
Result Rodmersham won by 67 runs

Batting first in this 40 overs a side friendly Rodmersham scored a challenging 213 for 6 thanks primarily to an excellent innings from Piet Botha (121).

Richard Moxon lead the Milstead reply with a well struck 81 but could not find anyone to remain with him to mount a serious challenge.

The introduction of 14 year old off spinner Lee Foster into the attack for his first bowl in senior cricket brought the match to a sudden end as he took two wickets, including that of Moxon, for no runs in five balls. A memorable debut indeed!
