Rodmersham started off the season with a convincing  win beating Rainham by 140 runs.


For the home side both Michael Jones and  fourteen year old Richard Cooper  achieved personal milestones. Michael rattled up an undefeated maiden century which included 20 boundaries. His younger partner scored his first half century for the Club at senior level with a mature 55 not out. He also contributed by taking 3 catches and a wicket. All the home side bowlers bowled tidily but James Anderson returned the best figures taking 3 for 13 off 5.
