A fine opening spell of bowling by Gore Court reduced Rodmersham to 16 for 2 from the first six of their 20 over allocation. Then an excellent third wicket partnership of 89 from the next ten overs by Liam Foster(51 retired) and Christopher Piesley (32) put Rodmersham firmly in the driving seat as they closed on 135 for 5.
Despite a good start, Gore Court never kept up with the required run rate and their innings closed on 114 for 5 to give Rodmersham a comfortable victory.
