Rodmersham had a comfortable win over old friends and rivals Bobbing Court on Saturday. Electing to bat first, Rodmersham posted a total of 180 for 7 from their 50 overs. Opener Tom Munden starred with the bat scoring 71 whilst receiving good support from Lee Jackson (25) and Paul Mansell (22*)
Openers G Andrews and P Fisher gave Bobbing a good start, putting on 48 for the first wicket. From this point on wickets fell steadily and Bobbing were dismissed for 111. Neil Cheesman bowled well taking 3 for 21 in 12 overs and Tom Munden dug into his reserves of energy to take 2 for 16 from 7.3 overs.
