v

Minster (Thanet)

Match Type Kent Village League

A deluge shortly after the tea interval caused the abandonment of what had promised to be an interesting match. Rodmersham batted first on a pitch assisting the bowlers and struggled losing 4 wickets for 48 after 20 of their allocated 40 overs. Then Jim Ansley(50) and Simon Morley(29), with able assistance from the later batsmen, scored at a run a ball for the rest of the innings and raised the score to a respectable 164 for 9.

The Minster innings was only 2 overs and 5 balls old when the rains came and the game was abandoned.
