Rodmersham elected to bat first in this local derby which was played in a competitive and sporting manner. Skipper Trevor Jackson promoted himself to opener and scored an excellent 49.He was well supported by Neil Hodkinson(42) and some cameo innings from other batsmen as his side totalled 207. Peter Bedelle was the pick of the Bobbing Court bowlers taking 5 for35 from 9 overs.
The Bobbing Court response was lead by R O'Kane(48) and Phil Giles(31) but the rest of the side had difficulty dealing with the bowling of Neil Cheesman (5 for 17 from 10 overs) and were dismissed for 156 to give Rodmersham a comfortable 51 run win.
