This local derby between fellow relegation strugglers saw Rodmersham take the lion's share of the points from a drawn game and go one point ahead of Gore Court who now occupy bottom slot.

Asked to bat first in difficult conditions Rodmersham posted a respectable total of 194 thanks to some positive batting, particularly from Glyn Davies(38), Andrew Drury(37) and a cameo knock from tail ender Chris Whitehead (17 from 15 balls). Pick of the Gore Court bowlers were P Edwards (3 for 48 in12 overs) and G Ferrara( 3 for 39 in 13 overs).

Despite a fine 48 by P Motum, Gore Court were stifled by excellent bowling from Chris Whitehead (2 for 44 in 25 overs) and Lee Gregory (3 for 66 in 21 overs) and they could only manage 140 for 6 from their 50 overs.
