Rodmersham won this match at a canter, inflicting a 9 wicket defeat on newly promoted CUACO. The visitors batted first on a firm pitch but, with the exception of G Coles(42*), lacked the wherewithal to deal with the bowling stranglehold placed upon them by Lee Gregory(3 for 35 in 17 overs) and Chris Whitehead(4 for 36 in 21 overs).
The target of 142 was always going to be achieved on such a good batting track. The first wicket fell for 60 in the 16th over. Opener Stuart Andrews (65*) was then joined by Glyn Davies (35*) making his Rodmersham debut. An exhibition of controlled aggression saw them score at a run a ball and post victory in the 29th over.
