Rodmersham had a winning draw at Tenterden on Saturday and now look certain to stay in Division II next season. Tenterden won the toss and put the villagers into bat. Despite being in trouble at 51 for 6, a good knock of 78 by Simon Morley and 27 by Justin Meredith meant they recovered finishing up 175 for 9 off 50 overs. Another excellent performance from Chris Whitehead, taking 6 for 60 , making it difficult for the home side. They eventually finished up 172 for 9, just 3 runs short of the target.
