Venue Lloyds Bank
Date 14th August 99
Result Rodmersham won by 4 wickets

Rodmersham played their best game of the season beating Lloyds Bank by 4 wickets . Winning the toss and sending the home side into bat, Rodmersham were on the back foot through brilliant batting their Australian Jones (73) who attacked the bowling, and at one point were 122 for  2 off 22 overs. But the fall of his wicket turned the game around. Rodmersham's bowling and fielding improved. Chris Whitehead bowled superbly taking 7 wickets and was supported by Chris Coulteras Lloyds Banks crashed to 153 all out. In reply quick wickets fell due to mixture of fast bowling and keen fielding, and at one stage Rodmersham were in trouble at 45 for 5. A gutsy innings by Chris  Holman and Matt Lincoln changed the game. An 80 run partnership between Lincoln and Lee Gregory guided them home to a win and little breathing space to stay in Division II.
