Rodmersham gave a good account of themselves in the field again with a superb bowling effort and sharp fielding which restrict the home side to just 133 from 48 overs. Chris Whitehead was outstanding, taking 6 wickets for 27 runs off 15 overs following on from his 5 wicket haul the previous week against Farningham. Good support from Matthew Lincoln (2-24) and Stuart Coulter (2-36) presented Hartley with an uphill struggle. When rain intervened Rodmersham were going well with Simon Morely finding form, stroking his way to 27 not out. After a stuttering start to the season Rodmersham are looking far more confident.
