Rodmersham won their first league game of the season with an impressive 111 win over Dover. Batting first they were in early trouble with the loss of both openers for only 12 runs. A brilliant 150 third wicket partnership by Dave Cogger (85)  and Matt Lincoln (78 no), then a quick fire 22 by Dale Pout enabled Rodmersham to reach a total of 204 for 3 off 50 overs. In reply Dover were never in the hunt thanks to bowling by Matt Lincoln (4 for 13) and Neil Cheesman (3 for 23). Dover were finally bowled out for 93 earning the team their first league win and 20 points.
